vZulum announces two more appointments

Barkindo Saidu has been appointed Director-General of the State Emergency Management Agency, SEMA, by Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno State.

The appointments were announced in a statement released on Friday in Maiduguri by Malam Isa Gusau, Zulum’s Special Adviser on Media and Strategy.

Malam Abdulkadir Harun was additionally appointed by the governor as Executive Secretary of the Borno State Arabic and Sangaya Education Board, or BOSASEB.

Harun, 59, is from Ngala, while Barkindo, 54, is from the Gwoza Local Government Area.

According to NAN, Barkindo formerly held the positions of Executive Secretary and Program Manager at BOSACAM, the Borno State agency for the Control of HIV/AIDS and Malaria.

According to Zulum, Barkindo’s selection was supported by his strong qualifications and track record of public service.

The governor congratulated the two new hires and expressed his anticipation for their continuous dedication to serving the people of Borno and all of mankind with excellence.
