You left huge debt, supported Amaechi against Tinubu – Shehu Sani knocks El-Rufai

Shehu Sani, a former congressman, challenged Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, the recently departed governor of Kaduna State, to publish the contents of the form he filled out for the Code of Conduct Bureau in order to reveal his holdings.

El-Rufai maintained he never stole from the State’s funds, but Sani claimed he left a significant debt profile for it.

On Wednesday, Sani criticized the former governor in a message on his verified Twitter account, claiming that he is once again “blogging on Twitter.”

After working for Rotimi Amaechi, President Bola Tinubu’s opponent in the party primary, El-Rufai was said to be waiting for a political appointment from Tinubu, according to the social critic.

“Mr. El-rufai, retired Governor, is back to ‘blogging on Twitter’ while awaiting a political appointment from Tinubu, after working for Amaechi and covertly disseminating unfavorable information and fabricating unfavorable stories about Tinubu,” he tweeted.

“You stated that you never stole money from the treasury of Kaduna State, yet you left a significant debt burden for our children and grandchildren in Kaduna State to pay.

Even one of your stooges said that you are now poorer. I dare you to publish the content of the forms you submitted to the Code of Conduct Bureau in 2015 and 2023 in order to make public your assets.

I’ll follow up with you once you’ve completed this, I promise.
