Burna Boy, a Grammy-winning artist from Nigeria, has disclosed that his younger sister Ronami Ogulu, a stylist and creative director, was the driving force behind his recent sold-out performance at the historic London Stadium.
According to the DAILY POST, on Saturday, Burna Boy became the first African performer to sell out the 80,000-seat London Stadium.
The self-described “African Giant” was seen shortly after the performance carrying his little sister Ronami on his back in a widely shared video.
Burna Boy posted the footage to his Instagram story and said that his sister deserved to be carried because it was her idea that led to the event.
He claimed Ronami worked very hard to ensure the event’s success behind the scenes.
“Well done @r0nami e reach to carry you!!!,” he wrote. This show’s backstage antics were crazy! I am aware of the pressure you were under! Everything was your idea, in a sense. Witnessing it come to life was incredible. I’m really pleased with you.
