Mauricio Pochettino, the manager of Chelsea, has requested complete dedication from his players.
Players must be dedicated to the Chelsea project, according to Pochettino, whether they come from the academy or are purchased.
Pochettino said he was willing to give people a chance as long as they had the correct mindset and that any player who wasn’t dedicated to the team might depart.
“It doesn’t matter if you entered through the academy or from the outside. You must have a strong desire to be here and a dedication to Chelsea.
“We’ll come up with a compromise that works for all parties if you’re not dedicated to the project. I believe all of the players here are dedicated to helping the squad and club achieve the same historical status as Chelsea,” he stated.
This summer, the Blues have seen a number of academy graduates leave the team.
Mason Mount, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, and Ethan Ampadu are a few of these guys.
