Transfer: Manchester United to sell two players who missed first day of pre-season training

After the duo failed to show up for the first day of preseason practice, Manchester United is reportedly prepared to trade Eric Bailly and Alex Telles.

The contracts for Bailly and Telles will expire in the summer of 2019.

The Mirror reports that Man United is aiming to offload both players to make room for them on the roster and to reduce their wage costs.

Bailly spent the previous campaign on loan at Marseille in the French Ligue 1.

Telles, on the other hand, spent the previous campaign on loan at Sevilla, where he contributed to the La Liga team’s UEFA Europa League victory.

Man United wants to strengthen manager Erik ten Hag’s team this summer, meantime.

Mason Mount has already been acquired by the Red Devils from Chelsea, and the deal is anticipated to be finalized soon.
