Transfer: Man Utd making progress in new striker pursuit – Ten Hag

Erik ten Hag, manager of Manchester United, stated that they are making progress in their search for a new striker.

Ten Hag’s first season in the Premier League saw a lackluster offense from the team.

The necessity for a striker was highlighted by the release of Cristiano Ronaldo’s contract and the loaning out of Wout Weghorst.

In addition to goalkeeper Andre Onana and midfielder Mason Mount, United is still looking to add a striker, with Rasmus Hojlund of Atalanta thought to be their top target.

“Yeah, we make progress. Ten Hag was questioned about United’s search for a striker. “But you know how it works — when we have him, we will tell you straight away,” Ten Hag responded.

“All I can say is that we’re doing everything we can to make it happen. As quickly as possible, if it were up to me. Because we need to integrate him into the team and method of playing, the earlier the better.
