Conor Gallagher, a midfielder for Chelsea, is still on Mauricio Pochettino’s radar for the Blues.
This is true despite numerous speculations suggesting that the England international will leave Stamford Bridge.
The former Tottenham manager expressed satisfaction with the midfielder’s performance and made it clear that he was opposed to a transfer.
Prior to his team’s preseason matchup against Newcastle United, Pochettino said he was eager to work with the academy product.
Right now, I’m satisfied with him and his performance. Our plan includes the players who are in town for the tour. Our plans include Conor.
“I spoke to him the day before he arrived. I’m pleased with his performance, but in football things happen that we can’t control,” he remarked.
In Chelsea’s first two preseason games, Gallagher scored twice.
