Frank McAvennie, a former striker for West Ham United and Celtic, has advised Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp to offload forward Luis Diaz this summer.
Al-Hilal of the Saudi Pro League reportedly made an offer of £43 million for the attacker, according to Record.
And McAvennie believes that if Klopp sold the striker, he might acquire a better player for that sum.
If Liverpool receives a bid for the Columbian player in the amount of £60 million, he advised them to consider selling the player.
“If they can get £60m for him, I would take it because I think Jurgen can find a better player for that,” he told Empire of the Kop. Although I believe he has talent, he occasionally ran around last year like a chicken without a head.
“I don’t believe that Jurgen has time for that. I believe he would enjoy it there.
