Transfer: He is strong, great left foot – Saha warns Ten Hag about signing striker

Erik Ten Hag, the manager of the team, has been warned by former Manchester United striker Louis Saha about his efforts to bring in Rasmus Hojlund.

The Frenchman called the signing a “risk” and questioned whether the international from Denmark would make a great front man for the Red Devils.

To fill the gap left by Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure last season, Ten Hag is scrambling to acquire another striker to his squad this summer.

Due to Tottenham’s reluctance to trade Harry Kane to any of their rivals, Ten Hag appears to have chosen the teenager Hojlund as his main target, and it is reported that personal terms have already been reached.

Saha agrees that the 20-year-old’s potential is clear, but he wants the team to sign the final product.

When asked about United signing the Atalanta talent, Saha responded to Paddy Power, “There’s always a danger when a player comes from another nation.

“They may have all the skill, but adaptation may take some time. Rasmus Hojlund, though, is capable.

He possesses a powerful left foot and is quite strong. Because of his great mobility, he gives Manchester United’s wingers a lot of room to operate. It’s a really clever move.

“I’d prefer a player with more Premier League experience, but that’s the situation,” said the player.
