My late son inspired my album artwork – Davido

David Adeleke, nicknamed Davido, a Nigerian afrobeats musician, has stated that the artwork for his most recent album, “Timeless,” was inspired by the late Ifeanyi Adeleke.

The singer of “Omo Baba Olowo,” who just appeared on The Cruz Show on Real 92.3 FM, revealed this.

“The artwork represents many things in my life,” he remarked. My son passed away last year. He admired trees and all of nature. Elephant was his preferred animal.

And if you look at the artwork for “Timeless,” you will notice an elephant, a lot of trees, and a bird on the left side; that bird represents him.

Davido also disclosed that he recorded several of the songs for the album when his late son was present.

In October 2022, Ifeanyi perished in a pool at Davido’s home on Banana Island, Lagos State.
