On Sunday, Mr. Tein Jack-Rich, a leading candidate for president on the All Progressives Congress (APC) platform, asked all Nigerians to turn out in large numbers to support Bola Tinubu.
Jack-Rich made the request in Abuja as part of a message of congratulations and goodwill to Nigerians.
“We have succeeded in going through a tremendous and consistent transition of the 4th Republic, so all Nigerians need to come out in large numbers to support our incoming president,” he stated.
“We don’t need to hate; all we need to do right now is love,” the speaker said. “I know you may not be happy, I know some hearts may be broken, but it is for the good of our republic.”
The oil tycoon and philanthropist asserts that Tinubu is the president-elect of Nigeria and does not belong to the APC, so all political parties ought to unite in favor of him.
“All Nigerians should band together in support of this brilliant president, who has innovative ideas and a wonderful IQ, because he will bring together brilliant brains who will change the narrative and showcase Nigeria as a country in the council of nations,
Jack-Rich also affirmed his confidence in Nigerians’ commitment to build a better nation.
“Yes, I am aware of your capability. Do not be offended by what I said; it was spoken for the benefit of everyone, and I am confident that the president-elect will be pro-all when he is sworn in, regardless of political, religious, or racial connections.
With Tinubu in charge of Nigeria’s affairs, he urged everyone—including those who worried they would be left out—to work together to ensure a successful and peaceful inauguration on Monday. He assured them that they had nothing to worry about.
