According to President Muhammadu Buhari, his favorite past time of caring for livestock is something he longs to do.
This was mentioned by Buhari during the Federal Executive Council’s (FEC) final meeting on Wednesday.
Buhari thanked his cabinet members for their assistance over the past eight years in a statement from Femi Adesina, the Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity.
“I also praise God for giving us the courage and for preserving our unity. I anticipate that many of you would argue that Daura has not gotten too far away simply because I am no longer Mr. President.
I’ll be glad to accomplish the several tasks I have been unable to complete since May 29, 2015. One of these is looking after my cattle, which is one of my favorite pastimes.
“I expect to hear good news anytime our names are mentioned and wish all of us the best. God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and I thank you,” he said.
Nigeria’s president Buhari was chosen in 2015 and re-elected in 2019.
The president-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu will take the oath of office on Monday, May 29.
