After making his debut against Wrexham, Christopher Nkunku of Chelsea said he would be glad to be in charge of the forward line this year.
The Blues won 5-0 in North Carolina thanks to a goal from Nkunku.
The Frenchman, who recently moved from RB Leipzig, only started working with his new teammates last week.
Nkunku, who can play multiple positions, began his career with Paris Saint-Germain as a midfielder.
However, against Wrexham, Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino started him through the middle.
When questioned about his ideal situation, Nkunku responded, “This is my position.”
“I enjoy playing this position because I have more room to move and enter a space. My current position makes me very happy.
