Do not be in a hurry to leave your parents houses – VJ Adams

VJ Adams, a well-known television personality, has cautioned teenagers against being in a rush to leave their parents’ homes.

According to him, the present trend of youngsters renting their own apartments is bad for the economy.

The OAP advised those whose parents reside in desirable areas to stay with them until they are in their mid- to late-20s in order to avoid paying rent.

If you are 17, 18, he remarked, “I don’t know why you are in a rush to leave your parents, especially if they reside in close-by neighborhoods like Ikeja, Gbagada, Ogbudu, or you know, central neighborhoods like Yaba, Surulere. You’re attempting to leave your parents’ home, but why?

You don’t require liberation. Consider this. If you save N3 million every year as you pay rent, persuade yourself that you are paying N3 million in rent each year, you would have saved N30 million in ten years if you are 17 years old. When you turn 27, you leave your parents’ home and either buy a home or, if you want, rent one that you can customize to your needs. You could give it the right decor.

In addition, VJ Adams said that his profession required him to leave his parents’ home early.
